There is no doubt that a new consciousness, coming from a grass roots movement and supported by what is probably the most conservative body of scholars and physicists, has changed our view of the world.
The new physics with the Copenhagen Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics is shaking the old worldview and is reshaping society on all levels.
Because of it, the established Medical Newtonian Mechanistic Crisis Driven approach to health is a dying dinosaur plagued by a crisis in economics, public confidence, poor quality of life and by a growing number of internal dissidents.
Headed by Dr. Mendelsohn, M.D. author of Confessions of a Medical Heretic, Bernie Siegel, M.D., Larry Dosset, M.D., Deepak Chopra, M.D., to name a few, the rank of medical doctors opposed to conventional, traditional medical practice is growing. Today there is an increased reluctance among medical doctors to prescribe medications, perform surgery and expose the public indiscriminately to antibiotics and X-ray radiation.
It is a matter of fact that the medical geniuses of today are the ones who do not prescribe medication and find alternatives to conventional approaches.
Most talk shows today host doctors and pediatricians who openly take a stand against the overuse of medication, antibiotics and routine procedures they find unnecessary.
Even the New England Journal of Medicine, the most prestigious medical publication, stated: “Unnecessary surgeries are routine procedures.”
This is not to be interpreted as stating that there is no value to Medicine.
To the contrary Medicine has enormous contribution to be proud of. It shines in emergency care, first aid, crisis intervention and repairs.
There is a time and place for medical care. Yet, today, it is widely misused, overused and abused.
The mechanistic individualistic approach to health is changing to a vitalistic holistic framework.
Since its birth in 1895, Chiropractic has been at the forefront of the vitalistic movement. The principles, premises and tenets of the chiropractic philosophy have become the “gospel” of the new emerging vitalistic health paradigm.
Maintaining body function and balance is quickly presiding over crisis care.
Giving regular attention to the neurospinal axis – the spine, spinal cord, nerve root system – is paramount in establishing proper body function and performance. Proactive wellness care is the catch phrase of today.
Insuring a full life expression overrides needless concern for symptoms, which are mostly “weather fluctuations” that come and go-in the overall “weather pattern” of the body.
Understanding that sickness and disease are messages to grow and change our behavior and lifestyle is prevalent.
Taking ownership of one’s life and health an emerging responsibility.
Finally, the recognition that health is the uninterrupted flow of bio-energy between the brain, where it is produced and the body, where it is expressed is becoming mainstream knowledge.
Chiropractic is a profession whose time has come…isn’t it time you come to it?
